I saw that AHWTB Series 1 was on in the UK on one of the channels on Sky a week or so ago - can't remember which one... True Entertainment or summat?? Anyway, methinks Series 2 will follow, which is the one Ray plays the deliciously handsome Graham Braithwaite.

Keeps your eyes open UK RayVers, as he's gorgeous in it  :yahoo:

Oooof and add a double swoon to it pronto.

I was flicking through the TV channels tonight and nearly fell off my chair when my darling Ray as Graham Braithwaite was looking lovingly across a table at Alison Braithwaite in a Series 2 episode of AHWTB. I'd completely forgotten it was on!

Quite simply, he took my breath away. His face. His hair. His smile. Those eyes. Then Alison said something like "Graham I'd LOVE to have an affair with you..." and the look on his face was exquisite. I won't tell you the look on my face but I think the sound I uttered was a burble of some kind due to excess saliva. It wasn't all I had excess and I had to wriggle in my armchair. Then Graham says, looking deeply into her eyes "I don't want an affair with you Alison. I want to marry you..." and before I knew it I was chewing my cushion to shreds.

*Sigh* Ray. Incredible expression. Incredible eyes. Incredible look. Totally believable. The emotions he exuded were so near, I could feel their warmth. I was moved. Deeply moved. Then I had to or I was in danger of sticking to my seat.

I've been thinking more about the emotions Ray exudes in his roles. He doesn't have to say anything as his eyes and face and their expression can portray it all.

The scene I saw tonight with him as Graham Braithwaite epitomises this. I could honestly feel the splendour and warmth of his feelings. It was like body temperature plus ten degrees. My face flushed with the heat from it. It's why he's such a brilliant actor. And why I think a brand new film process ought be named after him. Forget cinemascope, technicolour, techniscope and cinerama; forget vistavision, 3-D and IMAX; phooey even to supermarionation. Ray needs to be filmed in Thermodynamarama!  :cheer2:

errr... You were..errr....uhh...chewing your WHAT to shreds?..?

Sorry for babbling in my swooning state, thinking of the young Ray going full steam ahead laying on the charm and male pulchritude in AHWTB. . It's been a long time since I watched AHWTB.

I remember I was SO grateful to find that program on BBCAmerica so soon after  'Rome' Series 1  ended. I was in DIRE need of more Ray.

ugh. Now, BBC America has a lot of "reality" programming. ::)

AAHAHA! I edited to correct a few things...including correcting to type the word "program" instead of ""prograsm""
. *snork* I have to say I think that program may have given me a prograsm.  :D

argh. I like to think that the idea I had as a comment to Labia's post would have been amusing. ...But...between editing my previous post so many times...not helped by the jumping text (*whine*) and the fevered state of my brain, remembering how incredibly Raydiant Ray was as Grayham BRaythwaite..... I think all my thoughts have evapoRayted in a cloud of steam.

Sorry. I was hoping to make my post worthwhile for a giggle or two. But ..  :dget:

Hahahahahahaha!!! Prograsm! Brilliant Cam!

That was what I experienced for sure  :yahoo:

Oh! I was channel hopping during the adverts to see if AHWTB was on another channel [sometimes they have these +1 hour channels with the same programmes]. Does this mean I was hoping for multiple prograsms?!  :neen:
