Obviously, Ray has been doing some horror stuff (Babylon Fields and Outpost), some police action or wotever that genre is (Lifeline) and he's doing tough action now (The Punisher). I would really like to see hom doing some historical stuff in his next undertaking and I'm gladly willing to provide script material for this. This historical stuff would either have to be a movie, docu drama or a t.v. mini series playing either in ancient Rome, right before the HBO ROME era, that is to say around 65 BCE (further specifications can be gotten from me personally) or a thing about the REAL Order of the Templar Knights. This said, you can imagine that I see Ray very fit for historical action parts and I really wish him to play major role in those. A mtion against this would be the thought that the big public doesn't give a d*mn about history. Well, with the right kind of promotion (like "King Arthur") had, anything goes. Personally, I don't give one bit about wot the big public thinks....heheh!

I know I'm a bit late in posting, but I just joined this community and am now reading through some of the forum entries.  I don't see why this talented actor couldn't do anything he preferred as long as he could feel honest and true to his character.  I did vote suspense/thriller because I think there is room in such a genre for great drama as well as some steamy romance on the side.   :crush:  I certainly believe he could carry that off as well as anything else he put his mind to.  I really don't care as long as we get to see more of him on the big screen in parts that allow him to exercise his talent (and maybe his body  :worshippy:) in leading roles.  Ah, well, only time will tell if this transpires.  Cheers and blessings--

I would like to see Ray in something that does not by it's nature require a review on bloody-disgusting.com.

oh wing, that's so funny  :D

A romantic comedy would be a nice change.

Ain't that the truth!  I fear that His Lordship is a victim of his very luscious, but more to the point VERY LARGE body!  Casting directors will want to take advantage of this embarrassment of riches.  So he'll likely be cast in things where he's a "manly-man."  Which he certainly IS, but he's also so much MORE, neh?

He was simply adorable in...bugger.  I always forget the name of that film.  Something about Flight???  I know.  My mind is gone.

One thing I wish his agent would do is replace the head shot they use on IMDB with one from the 2005 Rome Premier in Los Angeles.  Like the one on this page!  It shows him in an entirely different look, one conducive to a romantic comedy or other drama that Bloody Disgusting wouldn't be interested in.

If only casting agents would come to this website, Lotis has a beautiful array of head shots on the home page.  I was showing a lady at work why I thought he was such a good actor, and she could not believe that all of the pictures were of the same actor.  He can look hot, or like a big puppy, or tortured, or a manly man - he has so many faces, but it's that body that casting directors are seeing right now.

You were right, nomad, about the power of our keeping his name and presence going on the various message boards,.  Maybe now we need to start telling people to check out the many faces of Ray on this website.

Nomad, I agree with you about the shot on IMDb, I've made the same comment more than once. Unfortunately for us, it is a photo that Ray would have approved, and unlike the one you refer to (taken at Rome premiere), it was done at a photographic sitting.cheers:

I would love to see Ray play Titus Pullo again, whether in a 'Rome' feature film or in another television project. That is my favorite role of his, so far.

(*sigh* Not that I've been able to see all his roles.)

'Love Actually' was a feelgood factor film, wasn't it.  He'd have been good in the Liam Neeson role or indeed the Colin Firth role too.

Besides the obvious reasons for wanting him to do the stand-in's part, I think I would love to see him do Hugh Grant's Prime Minister role and do that little dance down the staircase.....maybe in his skivvies a la Tom Cruise in Risky Business...

*sings* Jump!!! for my love!!    :boogie:

Here's another clip with many scenes from the movie..take your pic, lots of good roles for Ray..no porn stand in scenes shown though and they were hilarious.
