I had to get wing to explain this to me.  I saw my papillon and Cam's bead, but I couldn't figure out that it was about our fawning.  And, of course, Titus's Pepe le Pew (sorry, Flower   ) is there too.  I told her I never meant THAT kind of fawning.   

So that's Cambi, a Britterfly, and Pullo le Pew.

good find, wing.  i'm hearing august 6th as the release date.  probably a good time, after the feeding frenzy of the summer blockbusters passes.

I don't recall seing this elsewhere on this site (just took a quick look around here): According to the February 2010 Empire magazine, it looks like a September 3 release for 'The Other Guys'. I don't know if that is a UK release or a worldwide release or what....Empire is a Brit magazine....

That clip reminded me of the time I made a crack about me and my coworker to my former boss..... I said that maybe my coworker and I should not have been paired up to work on a particular project because it amounted to a "bad cop/bad cop" situation. My boss-at-the-time got a much-needed laugh out of that characterization.

Several years later, the memory of that project still causes me to shake my head at the ridiculous enormity of what was thrust upon us. I wouldn't be too surprised to hear that my former boss breaks out in a cold sweat at the memory. I think my former coworker took his responsibility less seriously than we did. He may have been on the right track in that instance.

I liked the look of this film from the trailer and of course there is the much added attraction of Ray in it.

I don't seem to have gone to the movies for ages. It's usually with daughter nowadays for a rare treat and I think St Trinians 2 was our last one [recently missing out on taking her to see Nanny McPhee 2 thanks to her Grandma].

However, our Girls Double Sleepover last night [we had a friend each to stay] resulted in the younger girls' choice of DVD to go with our bowls of popcorn - New Moon from the Twilight series. The girls saw Twilight a couple of weeks ago at another sleepover and this disadvantaged us older two gals as we'd not seen it; knew nothing of the books, didn't know the characters and couldn't make head or tail of the plot. Oh except I did guess that those shirtless bluurks in the woods were were-wolves but apparently spoilt it for daughter and chum by pondering too loudly on why, if they were still wearing their trousers just before they changed into wolves, the wolves weren't wearing trousers too? And I said I didn't think that Pattinson fella was dishy at all and got blank stares as dishy isn't in 11 year old girl's lexicons so I felt about 100 *sigh*

We watched it by candlelight for added spooky mood effect except I kicked over a glass of red wine in the darkness and then spilled some popcorn reaching for the remote control *cough* after telling daughter to try not to make a mess 


I digress.... but this Other Guys film certainly does appeal to me [for more than the usual reason]
