For you old HBO's posters who used to like to kick  (excuse me, I mean "bump*   ) Ray's threads up to the top of the posts, there are two threads at Imdb on the Book of Eli that I would like to see a few more posts on.    Let's see what we can do about that  .

Thanks, Brit.  I hadn't been there in a while and didn't notice those.

We should all of us post more to Ray Stevenson's own message board on IMDb.  It's well enough to post here, but I don't think it has much effect.  We're all the same hens, day after day, for the most part.

I understand that an actor's IMDb rating is partially calculated by the number of hits his message board and bio get.  I don't know if they have a way of tracking IP numbers, thereby allowing them to discount repeated hits from the same number. 

So we should ALL do it, OFTEN, and keep Ray AT LEAST in the top 1,000 actors on IMDb.

There is also now a thread entitled "Does anyone else think Redridge" which poses some interesting questions, all of which I think are a testament to Ray's abilities to layer subtext into his role.  Might want to comment on that thread, too.

IMDb rates people and films.  The ratings are updated every week.  I don't think anyone knows for sure how the ratings are calculated, but hits on their page is supposed to be one factor.

You can see this at work when somebody dies.  Even if they haven't made a film in 30 years, for that week they will be number one.  So their page must be getting a lot of hits.
