New pics of darling Ray brighten my day.

So does collecting my daughter and her schoolfriend from the bus and seeing their happy faces in anticipation of a weekend in Suffolk.

So does listening to The Archers tonight and hearing David being very stilted wth his 17 year old daughter Pip's 28 year old boyfriend. Er, then thinking eeeek! That might be my daughter in 6 years and wondering when the Teletubbies were replaced by Lady Gaga and nappies for knickers; vests for bras.

So does getting butterflies in my tummy knowing tomorrow I'll be seeing hubby who's been living and working away. I miss him so much.

Oh and so does thinking that tomorrow I'll be getting what I desperately want from him. A tender hug *sob*

Hope you have a lovely day Saturday with Mr. L, Labia. Especially if your daughter will be away in Suffolk. :cocky:  ;)

I am happy we do not have snow in the weather forecast for this weekend.

Tonight when Mr. C collected me from the train, as I was rattling on about my work day, he suddenly burst into laughter...then apologized & explained that he just saw a sign outside a church (a sign which is meant to encapsulate the subject of the next sermon) which made him laugh. The sign said something like: "Whoever has been praying for snow... Stop praying."

 Thanks Cam.

Sorry, I didn't express myself very well. My daughter, her school chum and I all went to Suffolk to stay with hubby for a long weekend. It was lovely and daughter especially had a great time. But seeing him then leaving him again has made me feel very low and completely bereft and not at all the buoying up I needed

*Throws mope and misery out of the window*

I've just seen a programme called Fashion Police with Joan Rivers, where a group of badly [that's a compliment] tarted up people [including the fella.. think he was a fella anyway...?]; assisted Joan by trashing the Oscar outfits from Sunday. Or gushing over them, as they saw fit.

Crumbs I swear they might have put the worse dressed to death in the Arena if it was 2000 years ago!

I was, however, in tucks from Joan's razor sharp wit... Diane Kruger in Chanel looks like she laid an egg... and James Cameron in his silky Tux... he looks like a lesbian   ahahahah... ahahaha.. hahaha. Oh that's cheered me up no end. ;D

Oh I forgot to ask if there were any Ray sightings from Sunday? I wondered if he was at any of the glitzy parties? Still filming Thor? Still in LA; still in the US; still alive etc. etc. ??

Oh and I googled images of Lady Bountiful in case he was hanging around with her again but nothing came up so far.

Still. It's brightened my day just thinking about him being somewhere on the same planet as me  :yahoo:

As far as I can tell, His Rayness stayed home and nibbled popcorn or, if he did go out, he avoided cameras.   :-\

Awww what a great shame. I thought everyone was 'seen' in LA at Oscars time... drifting from glitzy party to glitzy party... the natty clobber... the fragrant hair... the lip gloss... oh and the ladies look nice too :giggly:

I did a double-take yesterday evening when a billboard caught my eye. I thought for a second that the guy on it looked like Ray. On 2nd look (a very lingering look  :cool2:) I decided it wasn't Ray. What would Ray be doing on a Coffeemate billboard, after all? I think it was Coffeemate......

I know that someone fairly recently said Ray seems to drink a lot of coffee, but I think it is more likely I would see Ray on a billboard for electronic cigarettes.  :celeb:

...Anyway....I Googled Coffeemate Billboard and didn't see any mention of Ray. I MUST try to make sure I come up with an excuse to go by that billboard again....

edited to add: D'oh! I forgot to say that I hurt my eyes in the glinting sun on my 2nd lingering look. Still, in spite of the pain I suffered from the rays of the sun, the almost-Ray almost made it worth it. I was reminded to add this silly comment because I was stabbed in the eye by my bangs. I don't know how much longer I will be able to continue in the endeavor of growing out my bangs. :hmm:

Aww Cam I've been through the bang-grow-out-awkwards before too and I shall never wear bangs again (they look dorky on me anyways I have almost no forehead and bangs + my coke bottle glasses make me look like Cousin ITT). Just go ahead and wear ookie barrettes for a few weeks. You will live down the embarrassment.

I don't know, wing.... I get my gray hair dyed dark brown every 3 weeks (the black hair which is still its original color does not take on any of the dark brown color), currently. But the bangs help hide the roots. I have a concentration of gray at my hairline, so as my hair grows or the the color starts to wear off or come off due to soap and shampoo or whatever (?) I could look like a nun wearing a hair habit.

I may decide it's either {1} get hair color touch-ups more often ($$!) or {2} try to touch up my roots myself with mascara or some do-it-yourself root touch-up kit (don't know how good those are...?   or {3} shrug my shoulders about the roots between professional touch-ups or {4} go back to the bangs....again.  :P Neither I nor my stylist will be too surprised if I am soon banging like a screen door again.

I wouldn't mind having more of a forehead, myself. I'd say I have more of a threehead.

I also forgot to add in my post yesterday that the reason I posted in the thread titled "you brighten up my day" was because I hurt my peepers a bit looking up into the sun glare to stare again (without sunglasses :cool2:)  at the guy on the billboard who looked to me like Ray. Also, I didn't want to start a new thread.
