I may have sniffled slightly *cough* when a certain character went tits up. But what sort of testament is it when the character who does literally naff all in said scene wrings the most extreme emotions of the series from me?  :curse:

Just have to add that she was ushered out of this vale of tears in an obscenely rushed way, like some afterthought so we could get back to seeing various views of that trailer-trashy  :censored:.

ETA: Titus, you're going to have the cleanest floors around after you look at this. Seriously.

The utter randomness of that just cracked me up, as did the sawdust in the sink!

I'm betting one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year will be a lumberjack with a bit of sandpaper stuck on the face.  :cool2:

For those of us who still enjoy beating this dead horse...

http://variety.com/gallery/tvs-10-biggest-disappointments-of-2013/#!10/2-dexter-finale/

"#2 “Dexter” finale
Looking even worse in the rear-view mirror thanks to its proximity to "Breaking Bad's" finishing kick, the show's final hour merely reinforced the perception that this once-seaworthy Showtime vessel had drifted off course in its last few seasons."

The only finale deemed worse by Variety was that of "The Following," unfortunately starring James Purefoy.

".. once-seaworthy Showtime vessel had drifted off course in its last few seasons."

Drifted? It was shredded by Hurricane CGI until the remains were unrecognizable.

You should watch it for the sheer what-the-frickery.

Oh, I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay,
I sleep all night and I work all day.

I chop down trees, I wear high heels,
Suspendies and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie
Just like my sis Debra...

This just in at:

http://www.dexterdaily.com/2014/01/dexter-spin-off-news-showtime-boss.html

"Dexter Spin-Off News: Showtime Boss David Nevins Says Dexter Spin-Off Would Require Michael C. Hall

Appearing Thursday morning at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Showtime entertainment president David Nevins said that any possible Dexter spin-off — thus far he has only heard rough ideas and no formal pitches — would require the participation of Michael C. Hall. “It would have to involve Michael… If we were to do it, I’d only do it with Michael,” reprising his serial killer role on camera."
