Ray with Tom Wlaschiha,

Here's the entire pic. Just because I don't know who anyone is I forget that others might. :shy:

Actually, that guy is the star of the show.  He looks familiar to me but I can't think from what.

Edited to say, he was in Entourage so I saw him there.  He was in the Lone Ranger, too, but I managed to avoid that one.   ::)

Great news for the UK peeps!  And you can binge-watch it!  Binge-watching is my favorite way to watch.  It sets off the neurons in my brain the same way other activities do that end with leaning back into a pillow and smoking a cigarette.  :devilish: Now if it only happens here I can get my Rayfix.  :ray:

Season Two of Crossing Lines to Stream on Amazon Prime in the U.K.
By Kristin Brzoznowski
Published: July 29, 2014

LONDON: Amazon Prime Instant Video and Tandem Communications have reached a deal for the second season of the global crime drama Crossing Lines to have its world premiere on the streaming service in the U.K. on August 15.

All 12 episodes of the series will be available exclusively to Amazon Prime Instant Video customers in the U.K. from the day of launch. The drama stars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Tom Wlaschiha, Marc Lavoine, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood. Season two also features Carrie-Anne Moss, Ray Stevenson and Lara Rossi.

“Crossing Lines is a bold and engaging series from some of the most well known and respected names in entertainment,” said Chris Bird, Amazon Instant Video's film and TV strategy director. “We’re as excited as the show’s huge fan base that season two is close on the horizon, not least because Amazon Prime Instant Video will be hosting the world premiere of season two. As always, delivering content of the highest quality for our customers is our absolute focus and we’re proud to showcase such talent on the Amazon Prime Instant Video service.”

“Following the phenomenal success of Crossing Lines season one, which launched exclusively on Amazon’s LOVEFiLM service last year and quickly became a firm favorite with viewers, it seemed only fitting that Amazon Prime Instant Video should host the global premiere of season two,” said Randall Broman, the VP of sales at Tandem Communications.

That's adorable!  Not so often one sees a cop looking so comfortable in a Kevlar vest.  :lips:

Found this interview with the producer of Crossing Lines on YouTube.  I like the show anyway, so I found it all interesting, but he has some nice things to say about Ray starting around the 2:40 mark.

That was interesting.  Thanks!  It's a pretty good show.  I'm perplexed that it isn't on an American network.  You'd think the European locations would be an intriguing change of scenery for American viewers.  It was on NBC last year, but I found it by accident, there being little, if any, promotion for it.

DStv must be a Brit or Euro channel?
Crossing Lines is back for a second season on Sony Entertainment
26 August 2014
The acclaimed global crime drama, Crossing Lines, is back for an action-paced second season which takes place across Europe and features several high-profile guest stars. It airs from Monday, 8 September at 20:55 on Sony Entertainment Television, channel 127 on DStv.

Crossing Lines follows a special police unit of the International Criminal Court that investigates serial criminals that cross over European borders. Back for season two are regulars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Tom Wlaschiha, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood alongside actress Lara Rossi, who was introduced near the end of season one as a new member of the investigative team. Guest stars include Carrie-Anne Moss and Ray Stevenson.

The new 12-part season has been shot on location in France, the Czech Republic, Monte Carlo and Bulgaria.

Fichtner, who plays former NYPD Detective Sergeant and top profiler Carl Hickman, explains why he thinks the show has been such a success with audiences around the globe: “I loved playing the American guy who is a fish out-of-water and to have him join in with his sensibilities. Because we have a multinational cast, it’s not just a gimmick or something that’s like, ‘Oh, we’re the A-Team.’ It’s not that at all. Our experts come from different places. Like you get the Italian girl with her own culture behind her. And Marc Lavoine, who plays Louis Daniel the leader of the team, is a French singer and actor with his own Gallic sensibilities. All of this factors into Crossing Lines and all of it comes through. It’s heartbeat of the show.”

Crossing Lines is an English-language French and German television series created by Edward Allen Bernero and Rola Bauer. The first season premiered on Sunday, 9 June 2013 at the screening for the Opening Ceremonies of the 53rd edition of the Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo, marking the first time the festival opened with a television series.

The series taps into the charter of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate cross-border crimes and ultimately bring global criminals to justice. It is set in the world’s most exotic locales, while the elite team of eager cops work to solve the most notorious international crimes.

The Crossing Lines team is made up of five international cops, headed by Captain Louis Daniel, and comprises individuals who have little in common and who must learn to live and work under the most dangerous and potentially deadly conditions.

In the first season viewers were introduced to former NYPD officer Carl Hickman whose life has fallen apart after he was injured on the job; he has become addicted to morphine and is working as a garbage collector at a carnival in the Netherlands. He is recruited to join the International Criminal Court's special crime unit. Based in The Hague, it investigates a variety of crimes that cross international boundaries. The unit includes an anti-mafia covert specialist from Italy, a tech specialist from Germany, a crimes analyst from France, and a weapons specialist and tactical expert from Northern Ireland.

The second season of Crossing Lines airs from Monday, 8 September at 20:55 on Sony Entertainment Television, channel 127 on DStv.
