Great article!  Maybe we can get a Rome movie if we all put on our ruby red slippers, close our eyes, click our heels together three times saying, "There's no place like Rome, there's no place like Rome, there's no place like Rome..." :pullo2:

Rome lives!

I’m noting this episode because it was the series finale — and a solid series finale at that. One of the things “Rome” did beautifully was to wend the fictional adventures and tragedies of Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo into the historical tales of Cleopatra, Caesar, and Mark Antony. And so the story ends with the fictional resolutions, instead of forcing resolution onto history. The casting of this series was top-notch, particularly Kevin McKidd as Vorenus, Ray Stevenson as Pullo, and Lindsay Duncan as Servilia. I love it when HBO pulls an old series back into service; the “Sopranos” repeat run was also a great gift. Pictured: McKidd (left) and Stevenson.
